My distinct profile for your first-class translation

My excellent translations are the result of three components: an academic background in translation studies, continued training on a regular basis and a great deal of commitment in my daily work. I am personally interested in the fields of sports, pharmacy and market research. What’s more, I have acquired a great deal of theoretical and practical knowledge in these fields – which directly benefits my translations. Take a look for yourself:

My qualifications:

  • University degree in International Communication and Translation (Bachelor of Arts) at the University of Hildesheim
  • Working as a translator since 2005 (first two years as an employed translator in a translation agency in Hamburg, as a freelancer since 2008)
  • Court-appointed translator of the District Court of Hanover for English, Spanish and French
  • Many years of cooperation with clients from the fields of medical market research and sports marketing as well as with translation agencies
  • Member of the German Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ)
  • Remote learning course in sports management (IST)
  • Two years of work as an assistant and account manager at a sports marketing agency in Hamburg that operates on an international scale
  • Intercultural competence through a one-year student exchange in Argentina, a study semester abroad in Belgium and one-year of work experience in Australia

  • Regular participation in further training events and conferences
